Hi, I had imlib2 installed from when it was in opt, and now that it's back in the new contrib, I noticed that the version had changed from 1.2.001 to "cvs-1" 1.3.0 was released on September 28, so I'm not really sure why pulling from CVS is needed (since it should be avoided if at all possible - it breaks offline builds, for example) I'm also wondering why sources are pulled from HEAD - how can this possibly be tested? At least versioning ala 20061113 could be used, and then pass -D $version to the cvs commands. This means people get a know-to-work revision (though not md5sum'ed) and it's still easy to bump to a newer checkout. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool that some people want to stay on the bleeding edge, but could it please be done in seperate ports ala imlib2-cvs?
