Ports I used to maintain on contrib
Hi all, Just out of curiosity... Does anyone want to give up maintenance of ports I used to maintain on contrib a while back? i.e: If you have too many to look after, etc. I don't mind and would be willing to take a few back :) cheers James James Mills / prologic E: prologic@shortcircuit.net.au W: prologic.shortcircuit.net.au
Could you make a list of those ports? 2014-02-16 7:17 GMT+01:00 James Mills <prologic@shortcircuit.net.au>:

I do not understand, you want to keep the ports you were maintainer? If you're listed as Packager does not mean you have kept the port. For example, I keep the original packager for opt/chromium: Tadeusz Sosnierz, and this person has never been part of opt Maintainers. IMHO to obtain a more accurate list, you should get a git checkout when you were a maintainer, and compare each port with the current one. Anyway, I think to do this better, you should inform the affected maintainers. So in your list you could include a reference to the current maintainer for each port that you want to retrieve. When you left the contrib I adopted some of your ports. If you want, you can keep 'amsn, atitvout feedparser, snownews and svn2cl'. I just hope that your new life as a maintainer be more durable and we do not have to readopt your ports again ;D Best regards, -- Jose V Beneyto | http://sepen.it.cx/

Yes sorry I didn't really make my point across very well :)

Yes okay I'll make some time to do this properly :)

This won't happen (I don't think!) -- My life back then was young, hot-headed and volatile (mostly a single volatile relationship! Women!) cheers James James Mills / prologic E: prologic@shortcircuit.net.au W: prologic.shortcircuit.net.au
