Hello, I want to comment about the section "# Comments" :added in two Pkgfiles (menu-cache and libfm). I think we must keep the contrib collection (which is a good collection without being an official one and it's well maintained and IMHO maintainers do a good job) homogeneous with the official collections. We have another ways to add more info about a port. I hope you can comment about it and give opinions and suggestions about this topic. I agree. We should only use the predefined headers or talk about the addition of a new one before using it. Greetings Juergen -- Juergen Daubert | mailto:jue@jue.li Korb, Germany | http://jue.li/crux
So, all Nice to have comments should be dropped too (or officially accepted). 2010/6/27 Juergen Daubert <jue@jue.li>:

Hello, the use of the "nice to have" comment was discussed some time ago, and there weren't any objections (and neither a homogeneous line to call it: nice to have or optional) and from my point of view, it gives more info, from the maintainer to the users, about what can be interesting to one port to link with. The 2 lines added I think doesn't provide any info which can not be provided in others, like we were talking in the channel, one of them is a dependency and the other a big description.

This is the point of this thread. I think at least things must (or could) be talked, at least to see other's opinion or points of view. There is nothing hidden in my post, but keeping things homogeneous, is a important point to be discussed.
