[Clc-contrib] amule dup from aon and jolupa
Hey, I just saw that there are duplicate ports from amule from Antti (repository 'aon') and jolupa (repository 'jolupa'). jolupa's is called 'amulebeta', which avoided to trigger the duplication check in prtsync. A quick check on the amule webside suggested that there haven't been "betas" in a while, so I guess that's 'amulebeta' is a missleading name anyway. Uh, my ports shouldn't have synced for a while. I'm not too keen on maintaining them, at least currently. They probably should be ditched from the repo. But, IMHO, amule is a better name for the port because every release from them seems to fix critical bugs, so the latest version is the one you should be using, no matter if it's a release candidate or not.

Just an opinion from a 4th party, I'm in agreement with the both of you, I don't beleieve any versioning should be part of the actual port's name. This is what the 'version' variable is for :) cheers James -- -- -"Problems are Solved by Method" -
