[clc-devel] CRUX Mascot sketch

Hi, some month ago[1] we briefly discussed on the ML about adopting a new mascot for CRUX/CLC. This month I finally had the possibility to get in contact with an old fiend of mine who does art/design and asked him for a sketch of a raccoon (which seemed the most voted animal in the ML thread). I planned to bring the argument to CRUXCON 2005 but since I can't attend, here's the sketch: http://www.varlock.com/tmp/raccoon-sketch.jpg Please let me know if there's some interest in developing/finishing up such a thing, and eventually if there's some feedback to report to my friend. Hi, http://clc.morpheus.net/ seems to have been down longer then the little hickups in the past. Out of curiousity, why is the website down, but CVS still fine? Is CLC in the process of moving to a CMS powered website (aka: "portal", to use the buzzword)? Cheers, Nick

Hey, I played a little with google maps and started a map of CLC devs: http://jw.tks6.net/files/crux/devmap.html Therefore, I'd appreciate if you guys could send me your latitude/longitude information, plus the city name. I think it would be neat to have both developer and user maps, just for the fun of it (for the later, we'll might have to provide some means to update the entry via the web, but for an initial version, we could just do it statically). Hi, during the last weeks I came to the conclusion that I've not enough time for CRUX. We are a bit shorthanded at work and this situation will not change in near future (normal work time increased. :-(. My home machine is an AMD64 and I'm running a clone of Jeremy's 64bit CRUX on it. I don't plan to upgrade my (x86) contrib ports for the next CRUX release (2.2). Actually, I'm happy that I'm able to keep the 64bit ports up-to-date (crux.danm.de/ports/).
