Good idea. In Debian it is handled by filing a ITP (intend to package) bug report which can be sent by mail. Then it's also listed at the webpage and in the mailing list archives. I think, this is a quite good solution. Do you have any other (better) idea to do this?
Sounds interesting. And it could fit well with cvstrac at clc: a new ticket category (port request?) and a custom report (Wanted ports) would be fine. Other ideas? Regards, Simone
