I kinda fear the implications of this, after all, it's a distinct feature of CRUX we're removing. In addition, now that "Per's taste" isn't there as a benchmark for simplicity anymore, I'm reluctant to add to many small features here and there; it is very hard to to decide whether a feature is sensible, or bloat. I'd therefore propose to defer the decision on this and other proposals which remove distinct features of Per's CRUX until we have defined common goals and directions for the future of this project; presumably, this will be after CRUXCon 2006.
