You snipped the "important" part. I know your opinion about RPM and I won't vote for RPM as CRUX's new package-management tool. I only wanted to mention that pkgmk & prt-get try to imitate 'apt-get + dpkg/rpm'. I'm using RPM at work - as long as you don't blow RPM's dependencies out of all proportions it's a quite nice system. I see RPM vs. DPGK vs. pkgutils vs [..] as just another religious war without any sense.
