As discussed in flysprax #581, I've uploaded a new version of prt-get supporting the PKGMK_COMPRESSION_MODE option.
Thanks for jumping right in when we noticed we needed to touch prt-get. And thanks for providing a sane implementation for the problem (yes, my patch sucked).
