We "even" decided to uncomment those fields. Basically we'll get rid of all those hacks and finally get clean formats for ports (as they were before CLC pushed the comment headers) and installed packages (no more hacks for locking, aliases etc.). Or to quote you from your previous mail: "Simple, without complexity. Everybody happy".
Can I suppose that the next step towards removing hacks is introducing versioned dependencies and USE flags? No offence, they ARE useful in some environments. -- Anton (irc: bd2)
