I don't agree with you in this point. I had to test EVERY particular port for x86_64 because there were bugs sometimes even if the source compiled cleanly (e.g. 'bc' -> sporadic segmentation faults, 'irssi 0.8.9' -> connect (tcp) errors, [..]).
