Sounds ok. Since the new contrib is quite new, I suggest we (CLC) directly take care of partecipation requests for a short period. Then, when the whole thing assumes a well defined shape, we can either employ an advocacy-based method or delegate submission handling to one or more elder new-contrib members, providing there is some voluntary. Maybe the 2nd solution is easier both for contributors and clc, since it provides one or more contacts that can be a bridge with core developers.
