Hi,
Hey!
It seems there are more and more people who want to join the new contrib, and I think it would be a good idea so start a similar model as we had at CLC for maintainers: 1. in order to join contrib, you have to find someone to advacate for you 2. the advocate is responsible for helping the candidate to get started, and should observe him for a while to make sure he's doing a good job
Everyone who's part of 'contrib' already is invited to be an advocate
thanks ;)
(assuming that he's been part of the system for some time, like one month or so).
that should be ok!
Would that make sense? If not, who's responsible to decide who should join?
Core maintainers I think, but they've already enough job, so your idea is more than pretty :) That'll make a contrib more united, I thinnk. Advocate may only help to start properly or may support a newbie sometime. That is what about _really_ new to CLC. Those who allready have their own repo, have a right to be added to new contrib. They've allready passed one test anyway. -- kind regards, Oleksiy V. Khilkevich [GRIM-UANIC] [GRIM-RIPE] Please avoid sending me Word, Excel or PowerPoint attachments.
