Hi,
ich have a problem with libpng port. The configure of gnome-core-1.4.2 failed because libpng.so has a undefined symbol.
# ldd -r /usr/lib/libpng.so libz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0x40042000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40051000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000) undefined symbol: pow (/usr/lib/libpng.so) I get the very same result on my system; "pow" is defined in libm IIRC; I could "solve" this by adding -lm to the linker flags (corrected patch from libpng attached; just store in libpng's port directory, update the md5sum and recompile). I guess one could do this better that just adjusting the patch, but then I didn't want to look deeper into libpng :-)
Torsten, may I remind you that this is the list related to development of the /CLC project/. Problems with ports - especially those not from CLC - belong to the official CRUX mailing list. HTH, Regards Johannes -- Johannes Winkelmann mailto:jw@tks6.net Biel, Switzerland http://jw.tks6.net
