Probably no? It depends how easily we can get core and opt building with gcc4. That is definitely something we would have to test. Jukka, do you still build a massive number of packages just for giggles?

Sure, that would be smart - perhaps bring the ports trees a bit closer :) Matt, it seems as tho core will essentially be a slightly trimmed incarnation of what was base. X11/Firefox/gtk and others will move to opt, but still be shipped on the iso. Yes, this is backwards from what was discussed at CRUXCon.
