Hello, As you surely noticed I've been quite inactive during the last months, or worse, years. Actually the last version I actively helped to ship was 2.2, and my efforts gradually diminished as we approached 2.3. It took me a while to realize things are not going to change. I wish I could say that it's just lack of time, but fact is that I'm simply loosing interest in certain aspects of tinkering with 1s and 0s and focusing on others. That's why I'm stepping down as a maintainer. Thanks everybody, current and past contributors, I cannot find enough words to describe how much this experience has been fun and stimulating. On a more practical note, feel free to contact me about the crux.nu setup and all the other things I pretended to be the maintainer of ;-) Best regards and good luck, Simone P.S. as my last contribution I single-handedly fixed the following show-stopper for the 2.5 release: http://crux.nu/gitweb/?p=system/iso.git;a=commitdiff;h=cf846757069cbd0f16442... -- Simone Rota Bergamo, Italy - http://www.varlock.com

It's sad to see you go, it's been fun working with you during the past years! Thanks a lot for all the work you did for CRUX. I wish you all the best, and hope that you'll fire up an IRC client from time to time to check back on us :-). Hey, Following up privately, I hope we can stay in contact somehow... I know it's hard, but it would be nice to meet up again sometimes in the future and have a couple of beers! Best wishes, Johannes -- Johannes Winkelmann mailto:jw@smts.ch Zurich, Switzerland http://jw.smts.ch

It's really sad to hear this from you. Many thanks for your big contribution to CRUX over several years, you'll be missed. All the best Juergen

Thanks for helping out with CLC/CRUX all those years :)

Hehe, I surely will ask about crux.nu :D Regards, Tilman -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
