Hi, http://clc.morpheus.net/ seems to have been down longer then the little hickups in the past. Out of curiousity, why is the website down, but CVS still fine? Is CLC in the process of moving to a CMS powered website (aka: "portal", to use the buzzword)? Cheers, Nick

Eek...no textwidth setting in your vimrc, eh. If you put this line into your .muttrc, your lines will wrap so you don't get massive lines like this (presuming you want to use vim with mutt). set editor='vim "+set tw=78"' On topic, the clc site has been up for me all weekend and continues to be up now, so it would appear the issue is on your end. :( Justin 'hermit' Rebelo

I was using emacs in a very large putty window, to write the email from the university library. It might have been an ISP issue, but the university is on a totally different network, so the problem must have been *way* upstream. Oddly enough, I can connect to clc.morpheus.net fine now. That's odd, though I'm glad that things are back to normal! Do you know how to make emacs line wrap with carriage returns, via a command line option? Cheers, Nick

Nope ;) I imagine it's in the manpage or something, though. Justin
