[clc-devel] crux 2.2-test2 out
Hi there, Matt just uploaded -test2 which adds new version of glib, atk and gtk. If you have ports which depend on those you might want to update (updating through ports should work just fine). In addition, this ISO contains a text version of the wikified handbook, available from http://crux.nu/Main/Handbook2-2 Get it from http://crux.nu/files/releases/pre-releases/ Regards, Johannes -- Johannes Winkelmann mailto:jw@tks6.net Zurich, Switzerland http://jw.tks6.net
Hi there, As mentioned earlier the plan is to release 2.2 next monday, april 10. If you need more time, or need help testing your ports, please speak up now; otherwise, we'll start building the final ISOs soon. Thanks, Johannes -- Johannes Winkelmann mailto:jw@tks6.net Zurich, Switzerland http://jw.tks6.net

I have still not had [or made] an opportunity to test a 2.2test installation. My ports are, however, all up to date in the crux-2.2 branch. It is my understanding that this is where the ISO Makefile pulls from? To be honest, I'm not even sure of what I have on the ISO.. madwifi, sharutils, wireless-tools, and maybe audiofile, libsndfile? Those are all in opt as well - as far as I know, I own nothing in core. If you can manage to test wireless-tools and maybe madwifi, that would be appreciated. Thanks. -- Jay Dolan jdolan.dyndns.org A: Because it's annoying to read. Q: Why is top-posting bad? A: Top posting. Q: What's the most annoying thing about usenet?

Here [1] is a list of all ports and their versions which are on the newest test release (test2) of Crux 2.2. It has been created directly from this CD. Regards Viper [1] http://hometux.de/stuff/crux_ports_oncd
