why you wants to remove these binaries?
It has always been the CRUX-tradition to remove files that aren't used, aren't needed or otherwise just take up space. What is considered unneeded is of course a matter of taste, but /usr/bin/* from libtiff have been on my list of unneeded files.
If you need these utils, why not create a libtiff-utils port?
