[clc-devel] Inclusion of madwifi & sharutils on 2.2 iso
Hi Simone, [Hi list] As was discussed during the meeting yesterday, I've created new ports for madwifi and its dependency sharutils. They are both available in crux-2.2/opt. I would appreciate it if you could add these to the iso Makefile. The only obvious caveat which comes to mind is that madwifi expects the kernel source in /usr/src/linux-version at build time. Let me know if this poses a problem. -- Jay Dolan jdolan.dyndns.org A: Top posting. Q: What's the most annoying thing about usenet? A: Because it's annoying to read. Q: Why is top-posting bad?

Hi, I added kernel installation, compilation and '/usr/src/linux' symlink to the bootstrap process[1]. Even if in this specific case only installation is strictly needed, some other port could require the whole thing in the future (btw, the changes comes from the Makefile I used for ucrux). I don't see any disadvantage other than adding a few extra minutes to each stage, if anybody has comments or code on this topic please let us know.
