Yep, there's no need to syndicate the file to users of the repository.
And where is the strict rules regulating the repo's stuff?
Not sure if we have a list of this, but you only need to provide stuff needed by the port, i.e. Pkgfile, .footprint, .md5sum and README. post- and pre-install scripts are also okay. Other files are considered junk. // Jukka
