grub boot problem

Hello, As far as I know Crux 3 uses grub2. So I did grub-install /dev/sda and I did grub-mkconfig /boot/grub/grub.cfg After that I said to EasyBCD to boot of grub2. But the only thing I see is the grub prompt. How can I make my crux 3.0 box work so I can work with Cinnamon 2.x Roelof

Hello, At the end I do lilo -v but I see then this message: Fatal : trying to map files from unnamed device (0x0010) NFS/Raid mirror down ?) Regards, Roelof Wobben

kernel problem

I Always use lspci -n and then this page : http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/ for listing which kernel modules I can use. Is there a way I can save the output of lspci -n to for example pastebin.com or is there a way I can go graphical on the install. Regards, Roelof Wobben

Hello, I need to ship a patch by week's end that provides the functionality to perform 'mount -t cifs' and mount subdirectories // 192.168.1.11/Users/jon/shared /mnt. My kernel , mount , samba version combinations do not allow this: ie "not a block device" . Can I install something, say cifs-utils, that I can ship in a patch without shipping another kernel? version: mount from util-linux-ng 2.18 kernel 2.6 smbclient Version 3.0.22 Thanks c
