Wawrzyniec Niewodniczański [2006-08-19 14:55]: Hi,
It quite stupid question, but whom should I send info about new version of software to? Packager or Maintainer?
"Packager" refers to the guy who wrote the Pkgfile. "Maintainer" is the one who currently looks after the port, does updates etc. The packager might not have seen the Pkgfile in ages :) So, you should contact the maintainer.
I checked and there are new version of ROX-Files (2.5) and share-mime-info (0.18).
I'll update shared-mime-info. Thanks, Tilman -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
