Hi,
since the last xorg update my xserver fails to start when executing startx. It says something about a segmentation fault (I am not a good c programmer to know, how to work around this, yet)(the trace is attached) in the xserver or the nv driver.
The problem with /dev/fb0 was there before the update, too, so I doubt, that this is the cause of the error.
Even updating xorg-server to 1.7.1 didn't help.
Is anyone familiar with this problem, or has any suggestions? Thanks for your answers in advance.
bye richi
I had a similar problem which was fixed when I updated libdrm. I guess it was the libdri.so in xorg-server pointing to an old libdrm.so. Regards, -- Chris Shrigley <cshrigley@f2s.com>
