Hi! This suggestion is to add the following two library packages in the /usr/ports/opt repository. The libheif package depends on libde265. Plus the following line in /usr/ports/opt/imagemagick Optional: libheif Re-building ImageMagick after installing libde265 and libheif triggered the addition of two files in the ImageMagick .footprint. This fulfills an application need for image format support: I encountered the HEIC image format from an Apple technology user unaware of such details and my Crux tools (Firefox, geeqie, ImageMagick) would not display the image. (I did not attempt to upgrade Firefox or geeqie to a later version in order to get "native" HEIC format support.) "Hope it helps!" Thanks a lot for the Crux distribution. - Thierry Moreau
