The fact that other distros have a particular feature is a pretty weak argument. Maybe you can come up with a real reason, i.e. a particular problem you face with the current setup which would be solved. There's a good description on choice of features in CRUX on http://crux.nu/Main/About also covering the apparent "lack" of features when compared to other distribution. Judging from your post it might be a good idea to read that page to better understand what CRUX goals are, and whether they match your requirements.
