I have had this problem in the past. My memory is foggy but I think I needed to compile the evdev module into the kernel as well. I think it's CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV=y in the kernel .config file. Check for it. Also can be enabled via menuconfig obviously. Hope this solves your problem! On Fri, Jan 18, 2013 at 2:40 AM, Roelof Wobben <rwobben@hotmail.com> wrote:
Hello,
I installed MATE according to the quick install guide on the googlecode page. Everything went well and the MATE desktop starts. But then the mouse and keyboard are not working. As I start in runlevel 3 the prompt the keyboard is working fine.
I enabled config-udev in the kernel.
Anyone a idea how to fix this ?
Roelof
