Hi Crux'ers As a user and promoter of crux I really hope that core/opt/contrib are all "libre software". If not, I will have to figureout wich ones are not and how to substitute ports that are not "libre/livre". Thanks Crux'ers, Silvino On Wed, Apr 22, 2015 at 12:50:30PM +1000, James Mills wrote:
A very good question.
As many contributors contribute to this repository (including myself) I'm not sure there is a license for the whole repository as such?
I tend to license my own work as MIT myself but including a LICENSE per port would seem a bit counter productive IHMO.
Not sure if the CRUX Developers have anything to say about this :)
cheers James

I noted that the core, opt, and xorg repositories are under the GPL (v2, I believe). What about the scripts in the contrib repository -- what is their licensing?
