I was aware of this thread and referenced it above (but only implicitly, so thanks for the links). I dared to revitalize the argument only because it seemed to me that in the discussion everybody (including Per) had agreed to remove the recommendation, without finally removing it. About distrowatch, if nobody objects, I would ask directly distrowatch to fix the list of journaled filesystems supported by CRUX. Giorgio Lando
