Unusual syslinux boot error

I'm trying to boot Crux 3.2's install media on a dual Xeon board I have (Intel S2600C0) but I get this error: It appears your computer has only 269K of low ("DOS") RAM. This version of Syslinux needs 000K to boot. If you get this message in error, hold down the Ctrl key whilebooting, and I will take your word for it. Boot error I should have kept a list of the bios options I changed, but none of them seemed to have any impact. Is anyone familiar with this error? Thanks for your help.
