Hi,
After I upgraded to Firefox 3 I am having trouoble getting Firefox to invoke Thunderbird for mailto links, and Thunderbird to invoke Firefox for links in general. Googling reveals that installing gconf + deps maybe solves one of the problems:

(haven't tried it yet), but the Thunderbird problem still eludes me. When I click on a link in Thunderbird I get "Couldn't load XPCOM." logged in the terminal which indicates there might be something xulrunner related, but I am not sure.
Using CRUX 2.4, blackbox, as few ports as possible, would rather stay away from gnome if possible... ;-)
I tried this with Thunderbird-2.0.0.14/Firefox-3.0 [Thunderbird] 'Preferences/Advanced/Config editor', add/modify this values : user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "/usr/bin/firefox"); user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.https", "/usr/bin/firefox"); After that, clicking links in TB opens them in new tab in FF-3.0 [Firefox] about:config, add 'network.protocol-handler.app.mailto', '/usr/bin/thunderbird'. It should work now...
Any hints?
