well - have been all kinds of stuff - like the mid winter celebration :-) installing Libreboot on macbook2.1 or macbook1.1 is trivial if you use libreboot.org binary packages as i did this time and it runs better on macbook than i would ever have believed ! ( there are issues on other platforms though - like Lenovo/IBM T60 or X200 whistling sound = read the libreboot.org as Leah has written fine documentation ) many thanks for your comments ! /mc On Tue, 20 Nov 2018 00:10:37 -0600 Matt Housh <jaeger@crux.ninja> wrote:

Hey,
No worries about the bug report, we're not that strict. :)
Regarding linux discussions, you're welcome to join us in IRC on freenode in the #crux channel. It's not extremely busy but can be useful.
I for one would be interested to see how you progress with coreboot/libreboot on the macbook2,1, so feel free to update if anything interesting comes of that.
Oops, I just realized you mentioned you'd post an image of it booting if it weren't a mailing list, so I guess that means you have it working already. Congrats. :)
