Hi. As some of you know, opt/gtk upgrade to 2.12 broke Xfce. After some digging, I found out that it's : 1. a known problem 2. Xfce/gtk-2.12 specific 3.fixed in latest Xfce trunk. It is a patch for xfwm4, extracted from xfwm4/trunk svn, and cleaned up a little so it would apply...err...cleanly :) I've been testing it for a few hours, no lockups so far. If you try it, also rebuild gtk-xfce-engine and xfwm4-themes, and post results.Works fine here, but it needs more testing before Juergen considers applying it. Also attached is gtk port that I used, which has disable-icon-cache-validation.diff applied to gtk, as recomended at http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-devel-list/2007-September/msg00052.html.
