Hi In addition to this, I'd like to make a note that if you can't add more swap by extending your swap-partition, you can temporarily add more swap via a swapfile. If you can't put more ram in your system setup swap. I'd estimate 4-6GB is required to build firefox. If this is too much for your memory restrained computer you can pkgadd this built firefox, http://crux.ster.so/packages/3.0/firefox%2322.0-1.pkg.tar.gz
