Hey,
Hi Giorgio,
it seems that some wikipedia administrator deleted the Crux page claiming there is a copyright violation with Per's (published) Crux 2.2 Handbook...
It seems somebody is pretending the wikipedia page violates this printed edition: http://www.linux-books.us/crux_0001.php , whose distributors clearly has no copyright on, as they correctly state at http://www.linux-books.us
What do You think? i think neither Per nor anyone in here wanted the removal of Crux Linux from Wikiepda, and none else has the right to claim removal. furthermore the handbook is now on the wiki on trac, right? is that copyright violation then???
The suggested action from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crux_Linux seems to add a note to this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:CRUX explaining the situation. Before doing that, I think we need to clarify under which license the handbook is released, at least for the current version. (Maybe we can hear from Pér about this?) Since we're not a formal organization, I'm not confident it's possible to assign copyright to The CRUX Team or similar, we may need to list all the copyright holders, and later choose a license. It would be nice also to add both a license and copyright statement to the other docs floating around. Anybody willing to take care of the problem?
