chromium sync not working

Any idea why signing in to chromium sync is not working with the latest chromium release in ports? After sign in, I'm told the service is not available. I assume it's disabled somehow in the build flags, but I'm not sure exactly how to enable it. Thanks, Alex Matviychuk
