Are you sure your USB image is OK?
I didn't check the .ISO file against the MD5 checksum, but I guess it's OK because it boots fine once 'burned' into the USB stick. For anyone interested, in the meantime, I borrowed & plugged a PS/2 keyboard to be able to go to the next installation step. Unfortunately, all the mount commands I tried to tell the CRUX installation to check the /dev/sdc1 filesystem for the CRUX media failed (mount /dev/sdc1 /.tmpfs/.media). Re:

Maybe my hardware is not supported by CRUX. I don't know the exact model of each devices so I tried the installation anyway. But I'm asking myself, if the boot phase of the CRUX 3.1 installation works, a simple fat32 mount command on the same device should work. Dominique.
