xxd is very useful to me for making hex dumps. I use it often. What are my options for keeping it included? Are there other hex dumping utilities packaged? Thanks, Ryan

Sad to see cplay be removed. Yes, the project was not worked on recently, but that is likely because the program is ``finished''. It is small and does its job very well. There's nothing more to improve. This situation should rather be seen to be positive. Lack of recent development and maintenance does not have to be bad. Well, the upstream website seems to be down, that's bad of course. And yes, as the project is very small, I can create a package on my own easily, but nonetheless it would be nice to continue to distribute cplay with crux. Cplay fits perfectly into the Unix philosophy. meillo
