Touchpad in Dell XPS13 not working
Hi, Maybe one of you knows what kernel driver is responsible for touchpad in Dell XPS 13? Thanks, Wawrzek -- Dr Wawrzyniec Niewodniczański or Wawrzek for short PhD in Quantum Chemistry & MSc in Molecular Engineering WWW: http://wawrzek.name E-MAIL: jobs@wawrzek.name Linux User #177124
Is it not synaptic? If so you will need the xorg driver too. On Jun 3, 2015 6:30 PM, "Wawrzek Niewodniczanski" <main@wawrzek.name> wrote:

Hi, That's definitely try, buy I've got synaptic in xorg and the touchscreen is recognise, not touchpad. Therefore, I think something is missing in kernel. I tried both i2c-hid included not not. Now, different. With help from Niklas Wennerstrand I found out , you need to add acpi_osi='!Windows 2013' to kernel options, at least for kernel 4.0.4. One of those things you'd never have guessed. Thanks for posting the solution. On Jun 6, 2015 18:07, "Wawrzek Niewodniczanski" <main@wawrzek.name> wrote:
