this advice was already provided on the CRUX IRC channel :) I think he may be missing some HID devices too in your kernel configuration.
Roelof, could you please let us know your kernel version and upload your config file somewhere???

you have many hid and usb stuff compiled as module. ensure they are well loaded or at least compile them directly in the kernel.
