Single mode during Crux booting
Hello, Recently I tried to boot into the single mode with Crux and I failed. Standard advices of adding single as a kernel boot parameter didn't work. I don't think it is Crux specific, but rather a 'feature' of openrc. My situataion might be complicated by a fact of using initrd. Anyway, how do you boot into the single mode in Crux? Hello, Wawrzek, In general, adding "single" or "1" to the boot command line is sufficient. In your case I suspect the initrd is getting in the way and you might want to check the documentation for whatever initrd generator used. For clarification, just adding "single" to the end of my boot command line on a CRUX install without initrd works as expected. Regards, Matt
