Hi, I'm pleased to announce the release of pkgutils 5.30.0. The only change compared to 5.22 is that pkgutils is now using libarchive for tarball handling, rather than libtar. The initial implementation was written by Matthias-Christian Ott. A few bugs were later ironed out by Simone and myself. The core/pkgutils port has already been updated, the tarball is available at http://crux.nu/files/pkgutils-5.30.0.tar.gz as well.
