i am using CRUX 2.3 i686 ISO. i have burned this onto the CD and whole installation process did not give me nay errors. GRUB installation went OK too. when i give it a reboot, after the new installation, it did not boot. i get this: kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda3 GRUB: Error 15: File not found i put in the CD, mounted the partitions and found "/boot/vmlinuz" was right *there*. so it was not missing. i checked the /etc/fstab, it looks like this: /dev/sda1 /boot ext2 defaults,noatime 1 2 /dev/sda3 / reiserfs defaults 0 1 ........... .......... then i rebooted again and the same problem. i am using SATA on AMD64, so i tried the "root=/dev/sda3" too but it does not work. what is the problem ?
