Firefox 2 and flash audio not working
Hey Everyone, I just upgraded th firefox 2 on all my machines and flash audio stopped working(google video, youtube). Has anyone else had this problem? On google I found some tips for people using ubuntu(aoss) but nothing worked and I'm out of ideas. Thanks, Nick

Flash will only play through OSS, not ALSA... so be sure to load snd-pcm-oss and snd-mixer-oss modules, and to give the correct permissions on /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer to your user or group... I have a same problem.I googled, too, and there are two solutions, afaik. I have a port of flash 9.0 beta, which supports alsa natively. Just get it with: httpup sync http://www.mizrahi.com.ve/crux/pkgs#firefox-flash-plugin -- Alan Mizrahi +58412-2228889
