Hello, I'm using bmpx (beep-media-player) with dbus support, but without gnome. (BTW. What advantage does dbus give me?) At the moment dbus is started via /etc/rc.d/dbus next x is started by kdm next WindowMaker or KDE is started I'm starting WMaker via .xinitrc (I think is Crux way :) so I can add dbus-launch --auto-syntax --exit-with-session wmaker (1) to .xinitrc and bmpx works, but what with my wife KDE? Where should I add line (1) - Wahat should i change there? Another way is to build bmpx without dbus. What does i lose?
