Crux 3.1 on Dell Lat. D630, Broadcom wl.ko wireless driver won't associate with AP
The Broadcom wireless driver wl.ko for this 1395 card builds and loads but won't associate with the AP. It sees the network, iwlist scan works etc., also maybe the Cisco Aironet 350 pcmcia same thing, everything worked on 3.0, source from this file "hybrid-v35_64-nodebug-pcoem-6_30_223_248.tar.gz" as per Broadcom's instructions, and with expected warnings re modpost "Missing MODULE_LICENSE" and "Found 1 Section mismatch(es)," so what's the excuse this time?

What kernel did you run under 3.0 and what kernel are you running now? It would also help to know exactly what hardware you are using.

Where can one find that tarball? I assume it's a kernel module for some out-of-tree hardware that's not supported in the upstream linux kernel? Excuse? Ask Broadcom -- Fredrik Rinnestam
