I think you could take every Kernel you want or apply some patches. But if the driver for you Hardware was not modified ( >changelog ) or brocken in the Kernel you are using at the moment, that has no effect for you and your problem. regards Hannes

There is a bugg in kernel 2.6.21.1 http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/5/1/138 The sis900 driver, makes the kernel panic. The patch is in Git. Patch or wait to 2.6.21.2 release. /Jens -- Registered User # 259689 http://counter.li.org
