Fwd: Official Git repo's mirror at GitHub / GitLab ?

To: Ryan Mullen <rmmullen@gmail.com> Hello Shin and all, I am of the opinion that reporting port updates via flyspray bugtracker is too much hassle. However, there is a handy email address (or two) for the maintainer of the port. If there is one thing I have learnt about Unix enthusiasts is that they respond with email very quickly, so don't be afraid to drop them a line. If they don't respond, report it on the IRC channel as a potentially orphaned package, and if that fails to garner any response, post to the bug tracker. Regards, fyr

Really? One time 'cost': -git clone {core, opt, xorg}.git somewhere -open the account on FS 2 min to update the port, 0.1 sec to run 'git format-patch -1', 2 min to open an issue, write something vaguely relevant and attach the patch is 'too much hassle'? 4.1 minutes of your life, gone forever. Since when is putting a bit of an effort 'too much hassle'? I would expect more from users of Crux, which is, after all '[...]targeted at experienced Linux users.' Pedja
