Is it okay if I compile the kernel with the default config?
I'm not familiar with any kernel configuration, so I just use the default config from the ISO without any modification. It can boot, everything seems okay, but will there be some kind of lacks functionality?

The kernel configuration that is installed by setup is actually intended for this purpose. It doesn't include every feature there is, of course, but it's purposely generic so you can use it as a starting point. You can always rebuild to add more drivers later as needed. Regards, Matt
