I see your problem, but I'm not familiar with those packages. Hopefully someone else on the mailing list will be able to help. Maybe try the mailing list for plasma-desktop? On Thu, Feb 16, 2017 at 3:32 PM, Giorgio Cittadini <giocitta@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Steve, here is in more simple words my problem.
When I call a terminal (i.e., with CTRL+ALT+F2) my keyboard runs as a perfect italian (i.e, it is very regular...), but when I'm inside plasma-desktop and I call a virtual terminal (i.e., konsole) my keyboard runs as a perfect american (i.e, no more àèìòù). This is my problem. I think it happens because I should install from KF5 repository the package kde-l10n (as I do in Gedntoo and ArchLinux), but this package is not present there up.
Anyhow, thanks for your kindness.
Giorgio

Giorgio,
Do you mean localization? Sections 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 in the handbook might be helpful:

I'm not sure you can set a more fundamental language parameter than those.

Hi All, I'm migrating from Gentoo and ArchLinux to Crux-3.3. No problem as regards installation, forced as far as KF5 frameworks, plasma-meta, and applications. Many things do work nearly well, but I do not succeed to set italian language: in Gentoo, for example, I install kde-l10n and then I choose the language through systemsettings, but in Crux I don't find the package. How to proceed?
I would greatly appreciate an help. Advanced thanks. Giorgio Cittadini
